Systems Engineer (All Levels)

 

The desirable candidate will provide the Engineering Function with experience in planning, Defence specific artefact generation, as tasked by the Engineering Manager, and contribute to System Accreditation processes and artefact generation.

QUALIFICATIONS

​

  • Tertiary or advanced qualifications in engineering or relevant industry experience

  • Employment in the relevant technical discipline

  • Exposure to complex technical programs particularly in the requirements, design and integration phases

  • The ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts towards solving complex problems

  • Work history with system analysis, design and integration or test/quality assurance evaluations of systems and subsystems

  • Knowledge of requirements compliance tracking and reporting

  • Experience in using the Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) for requirements management (Desirable)

  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.​​

  • Willingness to travel or work interstate for periods of time

Test & Evaluation (All Levels) 

 

The desirable candidate will provide the Engineering Function with experience in planning, Defence specific artefact generation, as tasked by the Engineering Manager, and contribute to System Accreditation processes and artefact generation.

QUALIFICATIONS

​

·       Bachelor's degree/Graduate degree typically preferred or relevant industry experience

·       Knowledge of Defence processl

  • Experience with development of Test Plans and data gathering instruments and  development of Data Management Plans.

  • Review and update T&E policy documentation and provide recommendations to the Director T&E. 

  • Experience with drafting of technical reports and correspondence, independent review of trial reports.

  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders at the strategic and operational level

  • Participate in working groups, Integrated Project Team and Program Steering Group meetings
